Iceland!

I liked the blue lagoon because it's so hot in a cold place. The geese chased me, I liked that. I fed them a donut. It was too sugary for me - I couldn't even eat it! It was very dark out [ed. note: light on the horizon at 11:30 each morning but the sun never rose]. The plane was very nice, the steward gave me an Iceland Air badge.

Surreal World

A conversation recorded today by my mom:

Scene: Britney Spears is on a plane bound for Coast Aria. She is running from the cops, wants to dye her hair, but she is afraid her fans won’t like her any more.

“I’m gonna dye my hair before I go to coast aria”

“Don’t scare santa clause, Britney”

“Santa clause is her dad, she’s not scared”

“ Pretend on the runway the police stopped the plane”

- musical interlude - children sing a made up song called “on the coast of cost aria!” –

Spoken in an English accent “I’ll only let you go if you let you go if you let that girl off the plane”

“She cannot dye her hair but she can cut it but not all they way.”

“Can I dye it blonde and black?”

“So the kids won’t know who you are? Yeah that’s perfect”

“Pretend that guy is gonna be frost mad, it’ll take a short time for him to grow up”

FIRST GRADE BEGINS!

I like math in first grade and I have fun and I read a lot in first grade. There's one big air conditioner in my classroom. It is a heater air conditioner. My friend is Serena and my teacher is named Miss Starr. She is a funny teacher.

Follow up to last post

So I asked Alex about the words on the invitation and he said, "I wrote them myself and I didn't really know what they meant".

Mixed Messages

Today I received a birthday invitation. My friend had carefully written all the words and drew a fantastic picture of two dinosaurs. This is what it said:

"Harry - Got gamen. You are invided to my birthday mon. May 16th, oring and bak."

I will be attending of course.

Wiggin' Out

I've been watching a lot of "Foo Fiters" videos lately. David Grohl wears a wig in one of them. I walked up town the other day wearing a blue rubber band over each ear - the rubber bands were like having long hair like David Grohl. Mom thought I might like my own wig so we went to a local thrift store and bought a short brown one, a tuxedo jacket and a bow tie. I spent a looooong time today staring at myself and singing in front of the mirror....
