Skating Lesson

This is me ice skating - my second lesson. Although I tried to distract the teacher by chatting to her about her earrings, she finally encouraged me to take a few steps on the ice.
(mom took the pic).
Some of you may remember Ellen's amazing newsletters. Well, the Children's Center doesn't produce such detailed descriptions of our days, but here are a few recent excerpts from my teacher Carrie:
"He was a super song jar helper!"
"He is so proud of how well he writes his name."
"He was silly with Carrie and asked her to eat pretend dirt!!"

My favorite program

This is Teddy, Gilbert and Rexy from Caillou. My favorite is Rexy, because he shouts "Excuse me!"
Today I visited the Gardner Museum. I saw the elevator motor that went "Whoosh!"
Later, I went to Brookline Booksmith where I saw Carrie and Ken, who work there. We played around, a chasing game, and I tried to buzz them with a massager I gave to mom.
See you tomorrow! xHJP

Creative Writing

Some of you may know that my dad is a writer...well, until I can write (and I'm practicing every day), mom has been recording some of what I have to say.

One day in October, upon seeing a blind man walking down the street:

"Look, his eyes are closed. Blind people can dream all day long. They can keep their dreams forever."

My mom's favorite, from September is:

"This was a short piece of summer - sort of like a cake that somebody gobbled up."

Stay warm, and have a great night!
